I like the smell of citrus oils such as orange. Place the mixture in a spray bottle and spray around the home.

Use air freshener

This is another store-bought option that you can use to get rid of the burnt smell. Different cans and manufacturers use technologies that target certain smells and odors. 

Lemon water spray

You can cut lemons or oranges and put them in a spray bottle. Top it up with water and use the mixture as a spray.it will help get rid of odors such as burnt smells.

The microwave can be a difficult one to get a burnt smell out of. But it is not impossible. Place a bowl of water, mixed with vinegar in the microwave. Boil it for about 15 minutes, then let it sit in there with the door closed. Let the steam cling to the inside of the microwave. This process will help eliminate the bad odor in the microwave.
